## Robot OEM Software

Robot OEM software usually controls or manages the robot itself: onboard behavior, safety, navigation, perception, fleet management, device monitoring and hardware-specific workflows.

## Octeryx OS

Octeryx OS is being designed as the context layer around autonomous machines. It is intended to coordinate identity, memory, context, policy, provenance and evidence across robots, sensors, software systems, human operators and physical environments.

## Main Difference

Robot OEM software helps the robot operate.

Octeryx OS is intended to help the environment remember, govern and explain the context around robot-assisted action.

## How They Could Work Together

A robot may emit perception, proximity, movement, speech-intent or environmental signals. Octeryx OS can then resolve the relevant identity, evaluate context and policy, route the appropriate output and commit the evidence trail.

The robot does not need to own canonical memory or care decisions. Octeryx OS does not need to replace robot control.

## Claim Boundary

Octeryx OS is in active R&D. It should not be described as production-integrated with a robot OEM unless such integration exists and is publicly approved.
