Octeryx OS is being built as the context operating system for autonomous machines.

Short social description: Octeryx is building the autonomy stack for care, enabling humans, AI agents and robotics to operate from shared context.

The core idea is simple: robots, sensors, software agents and human operators should not each hold a disconnected fragment of the world. They need a governed context layer that can preserve identity, memory, policy, confidence, coordination and evidence across time.

## What Octeryx OS Is

Octeryx OS is a context runtime and coordination layer. It is intended to sit above robot control, navigation, hardware safety and domain applications. It receives events and observations from physical environments, resolves identity where required, materialises relevant context, applies policy, routes outputs to the right actor and preserves an evidence trail.

## What Octeryx OS Is Not

Octeryx OS is not a robot, chatbot, care management clone or robot control stack. It is not intended to replace clinicians, carers, human operators, safety systems or OEM software.

## Care As The First Reference Environment

Care is the first reference environment because care settings make the context problem obvious. A resident's needs, history, permissions, family context, medication exceptions, observations, handovers, device signals and future robot interactions should not be trapped inside disconnected tools.

In the care reference environment, Octeryx OS can be described as the resident-context operating layer required for autonomous care.

## Relationship To Panamorphix And Kasa

Octeryx OS is part of the Panamorphix infrastructure thesis. Kasa is the primary care profile inside Octeryx OS and Film is one isolated adjacent profile. The public site describes the accepted modular architecture without claiming live production deployment.

## Public Stage

Octeryx OS is in active R&D. The current public stage is accepted product architecture and deterministic repository proof.
